Trump Derangement Syndrome

The dismissal of criticism of the president as Trump Derangement Syndrome by his supporters and members of his administration raises serious questions about him and their own mental state.

Justifying the siccing of armed federal agents disproportionate to the threat of immigrants, resulting in injury and death to legal residents, while voicing encouragement to Iranian protesters to revolt is not rational.

Justifying the deployment of thousands of ICE agents to roust and arrest people in the pretext of fraud retribution is absurd.

Threatening to seize sovereign Greenland by force against the will of its people to protect its land from Russia while refusing to defend Ukraine is nuts.

Renouncing agreements to address world climate change and canceling scientific research and development of renewable energy sources while promoting fossil fuel production is crazy.

Toppling the Maduro regime in Venezuela and shunning the recognized winner of that country’s most recent election, Maria Machado, because she hasn’t enough respect in her country is mad jealousy.

Subjecting the head of the Federal Reserve to trumped-up criminal charges while denying knowledge of said action by the DoJ amounts to denial of reality.

Abandonment of allies of democracy while praising authoritarian leaders like Vladimir Putin is irrational.

Touting law and order while pardoning convicted insurrectionists and an international drug trafficker is insane.

Saying the American civil rights movement was injustice to white persons in light of slavery and its legacy is mental incapacity.

The derangement syndrome actually exists with Trump and his supporters.
